Status effects are temporary conditions that can affect entities and players in the Destroy the Godmodder series. They can be applied to combatants through attacks or items that specifically cast said effects, such as Spoils of War. The majority of status effects are debuffs that directly hurt or otherwise weaken the entity in question, though there are several positive status effects that heal or empower entities.
Status effects generally cannot be cured or taken away. The only way to remove a status effect is to wait for it to expire. An entity can also have multiple status effects at once. Every status effect is represented next to an entity's name by the effect's name and a varying number of color-coded bars that represent how many turns it will go on for.
The Godmodder is immune to status effects, as are players if they don't have a HP bar.
